Respite Care for Family Caregivers
Respite care is primarily relief for family members who have been providing much of the care for an older adult or disabled person. It is often needed in temporary, limited, or occasional short term situations. Families can set up a respite stay at Lutheran Care Center when needed.
Are you planning a trip? Need a break? It is important for you to take care of yourself, as well as those for whom you are providing ongoing care, to avoid caregiver burnout. Respite care is a perfect solution for pre-planned as well as unexpected situations, where additional professional support provides peace-of-mind.
Respite care at Lutheran Care Center is offered for a minimum of seven days. Please feel free to contact the Admissions Department for more information.
